Our Mission

Dunrunnin, proudly affiliated with the Greyhound Trust, is your dedicated partner in greyhound rehoming in the beautiful county of Kent. We are committed to finding loving homes for greyhounds across Kent, one wagging tail at a time.

With our passion for greyhound welfare and our deep-rooted connection to the local community, Dunrunnin strives to provide each greyhound with the love, care, and attention they deserve. Every adoption we facilitate brings us closer to our goal of finding forever homes for greyhounds in Kent.

At Dunrunnin, we believe in the transformative power of adoption, not only for the greyhounds we rehome but also for the families who welcome them into their hearts and homes. Through our personalized adoption process, compassionate support, and ongoing guidance, we ensure that each adoption is a rewarding and fulfilling experience for both humans and hounds alike.

Our Patron

We are very proud to announce Sally Lindsay, Actor, Writer, Producer and Dog Lover as a patron for our charity.

Sally said – “Having been introduced to this wonderful breed and learning about the work that Dunrunnin do to promote these beautiful, loving dogs as pets, and also, seeing the time and effort that the team put in to finding the hounds their forever homes, it was an easy yes when I was asked to be a patron and offer my support to this hard-working, friendly charity.

I was also delighted to hear that Davey, my Hungarian Puli rescue, has been given the title of honorary greyhound!”

Why Greyhounds?

Of course, at Dunrunnin we think greyhounds are the best hounds, and no home is complete without one however, we know that not everyone is as greyhound obsessed as we are. It’s a good idea to do your own research before deciding if adding a greyhound to your family is the right thing to do.

To help you on the way, we’ve collected links to a few of our favourite resources on this page:

If you have questions about your own specific circumstances, feel free to contact us. We love to chat about our favourite hounds!
