Racing Name: Decisive Annie
Date of Birth: May 2020
A charming girl who is easy to handle in kennels, she can be a bit strong when walking but she’s just having a good time and hopefuly this will improve once she settles more. She likes the squirrels but was nice and polite when meeting the terrier. Has been out to the park with the volunteers, and was well behaved, there’s a lot to like about this pretty girly 🙂

Date of Birth: March 2021
Only small in stature, huge in personality 🙂 Bubbly, excitable and full of fun – a great girly 🙂 As with all females, she has an opinion but just makes us laugh all the time. A beautiful hound who will make her presence known and rightly so as she’s such a fun girl! Would happily be an only dog as she would demand most of your attention. Got to like this pocket rocket lol

Baker
Racing Name: Beggers Bullet
Date of Birth: July 2021
Super handsome chap with great manners and a happy demeanour. He’s like a puppy at times and can be over-stimulated by noise and movement. Met the terrier and whilst initially pretty rude, settled without too much trouble. Walks like a dream until something exciting happens lol A great boy who just needs exposure and to realise he’s retired now. Time, patience and more experiences should help him become the great pet we know he can be 🙂

Boozy
Racing Name: Boozed Blue
Date of Birth: July 2016
Boozy has come to us from another organization, he was picked up as a stray and doesn’t seem to have had the best life. He can be a little worried by new people and situations but soon warms to his ‘normal’ handlers. He walks like a dream around our normal walks but we are letting him settle before venturing out. Not a fan of other breeds but his reactions are fear based and we’re hoping he will soon learn they are just dogs like him. Loves the company of other greys and would benefit from a confident grey friend in the home. We’re in no hurry with this chap he needs us to get it right for him and find him his ideal forever home 🙂

Racing Name: Cuando Ces
Date of Birth: September 2022
What a handsome boy and a lovely character. Just a youngster and can be overwhelmed by new experiences but soon gets over it with a bit of space and encouragement. He’s a super chap , with good manners and a happy demeanour 🙂 We love him 🙂 Would benefit from a home where someone can be with him most of the time or with another dog. He was great with Bugley (the terrier) so needn’t be a grey. Bit of a blank canvas is Cedric, would like someone to help him grow into the super dog we know he can be.

Racing Name: Charlie Emtrynie

No I haven’t spelt his name wrong – who thinks these up?? Looks a bit serious in his picture but not in real life. A happy, charming boy, a big lad but luckily has good manners and walks well for our volunteers. Has been in a home and was impeccably behaved apart from his over excitement with little dogs, this needs some work but not impossible. Just a bit too much for his previous owners. If you have the knowledge and time to work with him and other breeds he could become your perfect dog 🙂

Connel
Racing Name: Scattered Canelo
Date of Birth: January 2020
Connel has been in a home with 2 other dogs, so is house trained but unfortunately after quite some time, was becoming increasingly dominent with them. A high energy boy who loves people but needs some rules and boundaries to make him a really happy boy. He is bright and learns quickly but this also means he learns good & bad in equal measure, given the opportunity! Has been out and about quite a lot and loves his adventures, he will however approach any human for a fuss! A great boy who maybe needs to be the only dog in the home. Connel deserves a second chance, could you be the one to give him this??

Fidget
Racing Name: Tempus Fugit
Date of Birth: August 2022
We call Fidget our little hyena, she’s short, stocky, an overshot jaw but somehow beautiful 🙂 A real baby who is happy and will give you a lick at every opportunity (also has a thing for a tea cup lol). The most useless greyhound that ever (just!) made it to the track and clearly isn’t cut out to race. Greeted the terrier as she’d greet another grey so all good there. She’s a lovely girly who just wants love. She’s much to learn about the outside world and while cautious, enjoys new challenges. A little sweetheart who needs someone to help her learn about the world and love her, and someone who doesn’t mind a good wash lol 🙂

Racing Name: Midas Flash
Date of Birth: January 2021
Flash is a great chap who settled straight in here. Didn’t mind the terrier at all and is an all round good guy. He is a big chap and can be strong on his lead but nothing that can’t be solved. Confident boy who enjoyed his trip out to the country park last weekend and behaved like a gent (apart from being a bit of a puller). He’s not been with us long and we will work on his lead manners but will make a great addition to someone’s household 🙂

She so has the right name!! Stunningly beautiful – and she knows it!! So happy, scatty and demanding attention but we’re sure she knows what a looker she is – why would you look at anyone else!!! A great grey who will brighten up any home – so long as she gets the attention she feels she deserves lol. If you’ve the time and inclination to pay homage to this super girly she will, for sure, enhance your life 🙂

Racing Name: Joyful Jet

Jet can be a little miss scaredy pants and takes her cues from her handler. Not a fan of heavy traffic but will walk nicely with a confident human. She is super relaxed in the woods and on quieter roads (apart from the pesky squirrels that is lol). Jet can be a real cuddle monster given the chance and enjoys human company. She could live with another larger breed or another grey quite happily and may benefit from a confident doggy pal. A beautiful girly who needs us to find her the perfect home.

Lady by name and lady by nature! A sweet girl who just settled straight in and hasn’t given us a moments worry. A happy little girl who gets on well with the other greys and was polite meeting the terrier. One of the walkers favourites as she is so amenable and a joy to have out. As she’s settled she has formed an opinion! but mostly just amusing as she knows what she wants 🙂 Can be excited by other dogs running off lead but will settle quickly with more exposure to the outside world. A great girl 🙂

Such a good looking chap but was definitely at the end of the queue when brains were handed out! Happy, loving, zero spacial awareness!! Life is a big game and he certainly enjoys his 🙂 Do like this boy, just for his love of life and goofy behaviours. May benefit from a calm (super tolerant) doggy companion, maybe on the larger size as he can be in everyones’ space. He has a lot to give but intelligence isn’t one of these things lol. A great little guy, who will be a lot of fun 🙂

Racing Name: Pablo El Bolsa

Another super attractive chap 🙂 Has good manners around kennels and shares nicely with a greyhound girly. Pablo can get a bit strong when out but nothing awful. He needs to get a few outings under his belt but he’s bright and we think will soon learn to take life in his stride. A likeable boy who just needs a bit of guidance, time and patience. Can be overlooked a bit in kennels as he is an easy, unassuming boy. Needs that someone who sees his potential.

Racing Name: Ballyphilip Fab

A handsome boy who just LOVES people. Will make a bouncy, wagging beeline for just about anyone who even glances his way lol Great with other greys but does need to do some socialising with other breeds as can be a bit over stimulated. He walks well on his daily sabbaticals around our woods and has yet to have his turn out in the real world. He can be a bit vocal for attention but is quiet if he hasn’t got an audience lol A great chap with loads of character, would do well either in a home where he’s not left too long or with another grey for company. A real cuddle monster looking for people he can call his own.

Rebel
Racing Name: Decisive Rebel
Date of Birth: June 2020
What a stunner, Rebel is still in racing mode both in physique (who wouldn’t love his ripped bod??) and with the pesky critters that climb trees in the woods lol When not being taunted by the local squirrels, he walks nicely and just enjoys his strolls. Rebel has lovely manners around the kennels and just needs to realise he’s retired now 🙂 Super laid back guy with other greys, was a little excited with Bugley the terrier (as was Bugley!!) but just interested not aggressive. Has been out and about and he is very interested in other breeds, especially running ones but wasn’t uncontrollable, just shouted a LOT! . With the right exposure to other dogs we’re sure he’s going to make someone a super pet 🙂

Riz
Racing Name: Risdale Lady
Date of Birth: August 2020
Super shy girl when she arrived but blossomed into a scatty, fun loving girly 🙂 Walks well and enjoys her walks in the woods but not been out yet as we don’t want to rush her as we know she has a sensitive side, she’s ready to venture forth now and will get her out and about as soon as possible. We do feel Riz would benefit from a confident doggy companion, not necessarily a grey as she was fine with Bugley the terrier but a dog to show her the ropes would help. Riz is a lovely girly and will make a great pet but probably in a quieter environment.

Sammy
Racing Name: Touchdown Baby
Date of Birth: August 2019
Sammy is a delightful smaller girl, who has super manners and is always pleased to see you. She shares well with her kennel mate and is no problem around other greyhounds. She does however not like other breeds at all 🙁 Very early days and if she can just get more exposure, we are sure she will improve as she’s a clever girl. Apart from this, the perfect pet, so we’ll work on her here and see where we can get. Such a shame but nobody’s perfect!

Scratch
Racing Name: Sharp Star
Date of Birth: September 2020
Larger than life is our Scratch! A bit of a live wire and takes everything on at full speed but one look at that super cute face and everything else is forgiven 🙂 He just loves life but has the concentration span of a gnat, nothing malicious but definitely not your typical laid back grey 🙂 A great boy for an active dog savvy home, at least you can be sure he’ll enjoy every minute lol

Seanie
Racing Name: Sleepy Seanie

Such a good looking boy and a lovely chap 🙂 An easy boy around kennels and to walk but not afraid to let you know it’s dinner time, he does love his food but no aggression, just enthusiasm! Takes a treat politely and will happily eat treats on his bed with his kennel mate. Enjoys his walks in the woods but hasn’t been out to the park yet. He does have a shy side which he rarely shows but we know it’s there as he was quite timid for the first few hours when he arrived, soon decided it wasn’t such a bad place to be 🙂 Hopefully he won’t be here too long.

Whitney
Racing Name: Hollyoak Whitney

Acts like a 2 year old does our Whitney, can be a bit over excited in the paddock and loves a good tear up. However she walks nicely and enjoys a good fuss. She is not great with other breeds, she’s actually terrified but has decided attack is the best form of defence. Has been out to the park on numerous occasions and as long as she’s with someone she knows can ignore other dogs. She will need time to adjust when going into a home as she doesn’t trust on first sight. A bright girl who picks things up quickly so we’ve every hope that with a bit of guidance and patience she can morph into her inner couch potato lol.

Willow
Racing Name: Crackaway Willow

She may be coming up to 6 years old but nobody told her 🙂 Behaves like a youngster, excitable, keen and no idea what walking in a straight line is lol. No malice in this girly, just enthusiasm 🙂 She’s a bright girl and is learning quickly the behaviours that earn her praise and she tries so hard to please. Can’t help but like her and her glass half full attitude is catching. A great girly who with a small amount of work, will brighten any home 🙂
