Boozy
Racing Name: Boozed Blue
Date of Birth: July 2016
Boozy has come to us from another organization, he was picked up as a stray and doesn’t seem to have had the best life. He can be a little worried by new people and situations but soon warms to his ‘normal’ handlers. He walks like a dream around our normal walks but we are letting him settle before venturing out. Not a fan of other breeds but his reactions are fear based and we’re hoping he will soon learn they are just dogs like him. Loves the company of other greys and would benefit from a confident grey friend in the home. We’re in no hurry with this chap he needs us to get it right for him and find him his ideal forever home 🙂

Chas
Racing Name: Charlie Emtrynie
Date of Birth: October 2019
No I haven’t spelt his name wrong – who thinks these up?? Looks a bit serious in his picture but not in real life. A happy, charming boy, a big lad but luckily has good manners and walks well for our volunteers. Has been in a home and was impeccably behaved apart from his over excitement with little dogs, this needs some work but not impossible. Just a bit too much for his previous owners. If you have the knowledge and time to work with him and other breeds he could become your perfect dog 🙂

Connel
Racing Name: Scattered Canelo
Date of Birth: January 2020
Connel has been in a home with 2 other dogs, so is house trained but unfortunately after quite some time, was becoming increasingly dominent with them. A high energy boy who loves people but needs some rules and boundaries to make him a really happy boy. He is bright and learns quickly but this also means he learns good & bad in equal measure, given the opportunity! Has been out and about quite a lot and loves his adventures, he will however approach any human for a fuss! A great boy who maybe needs to be the only dog in the home. Connel deserves a second chance, could you be the one to give him this??

Grumble
Racing Name: Musnt Grumble
Date of Birth: February 2020
Totally the wrong name for this handsome chap – happy, loving boy who doesn’t complain about anything. Not his super overpowering girlfriend or anything else for that matter. Walks like a dream and has been out and about, has had no problem with other breeds and seems to quite like Bugley the terrier. He does have an auto-immune condition which affects his back feet and his ears but is under control with very small doses of steroids – we are hoping to be able to do without entirely but kennels is not the ideal place for him. Will make a great addition to any home and would probably be ok as an only dog or with company. We love Grumble 🙂

Messi
Racing Name: Baran Messi
Date of Birth: April 2021
What a pretty boy, easily mistaken for a girly 🙂 He was a bit shy the first day but soon realised we were friends not foe and is now a bouncy, happy chap. Walks nicely for our volunteers and is so good with his quirky kennel mate. Met Bugley the terrier and wasn’t bothered by him at all. Can be a bit protective of his food (although he’s a fussy boy!) but nothing dreadful, fine with treats etc just his bowl seems to be precious! Been out and about and while he was interested in all that was going on behaved like a really good boy. A great chap to have around 🙂

Racing Name: Ballyphilip Fab
Date of Birth: June 2019
A handsome boy who just LOVES people. Will make a bouncy, wagging beeline for just about anyone who even glances his way lol Great with other greys but does need to do some socialising with other breeds as can be a bit over stimulated. He walks well on his daily sabbaticals around our woods and has yet to have his turn out in the real world. He can be a bit vocal for attention but is quiet if he hasn’t got an audience lol A great chap with loads of character, would do well either in a home where he’s not left too long or with another grey for company. A real cuddle monster looking for people he can call his own.

Rebel
Racing Name: Decisive Rebel
Date of Birth: June 2020
What a stunner, Rebel is still in racing mode both in physique (who wouldn’t love his ripped bod??) and with the pesky critters that climb trees in the woods lol When not being taunted by the local squirrels, he walks nicely and just enjoys his strolls. Rebel has lovely manners around the kennels and just needs to realise he’s retired now 🙂 Super laid back guy with other greys, was a little excited with Bugley the terrier (as was Bugley!!) but just interested not aggressive. Has been out and about and he is very interested in other breeds, especially running ones but wasn’t uncontrollable, just shouted a LOT! . With the right exposure to other dogs we’re sure he’s going to make someone a super pet 🙂

Scratch
Racing Name: Sharp Star
Date of Birth: September 2020
Larger than life is our Scratch! A bit of a live wire and takes everything on at full speed but one look at that super cute face and everything else is forgiven 🙂 He just loves life but has the concentration span of a gnat, nothing malicious but definitely not your typical laid back grey 🙂 A great boy for an active dog savvy home, at least you can be sure he’ll enjoy every minute lol

Seanie
Racing Name: Sleepy Seanie
Date of Birth: June 2019
Such a good looking boy and a lovely chap 🙂 An easy boy around kennels and to walk but not afraid to let you know it’s dinner time, he does love his food but no aggression, just enthusiasm! Takes a treat politely and will happily eat treats on his bed with his kennel mate. Enjoys his walks in the woods but hasn’t been out to the park yet. He does have a shy side which he rarely shows but we know it’s there as he was quite timid for the first few hours when he arrived, soon decided it wasn’t such a bad place to be 🙂 Hopefully he won’t be here too long.

Racing Name: Dairyhill Sydney
Date of Birth: May 2022
Undeniably handsome and once you’ve wrestled him onto his lead and he’s walking, a well mannered and affectionate lad. The lead game is Super exciting (for both him and us!) and it’s only enthusiasm, he isn’t 3 yet! Has been polite around other breeds and this really shouldn’t be a problem but food is!! No aggression but PLENTY of enthusiasm 🙂 Did at one point threaten to stand on the table whilst at the county park cafe and has yet to learn to rein in his foodie nature. Certainly not a dog who you will struggle to get to eat lol. All round a super chap who acts his young age, relatively intelligent so will learn quickly with the right guidelines. If you’re willing to eat in the cupboard whilst he learns food manners, do come and meet this great chap 🙂

Socket
Racing Name: Four Way Socket
Date of Birth: April 2021
Socket is a tall, lanky lad but still very young so hopefully he will fill out and stop looking as though he needs a good meat pie 🙂 He’s going grey around his muzzle prematurely which belies his tender years. Not shy but a reserved lad who is still finding his feet with us. A real gentle soul who is taking everything in his stride so far, even his meeting with Bugley the terrier. Walks well on his lead with a halti and hasn’t given us a moments bother. A real nice boy 🙂

Speedy
Racing Name: Wheres Speedy
Date of Birth: January 2020
A real people guy is Speedy, begs for attention as soon as he sets eyes on a person and he’s hard to resist 🙂 A hansome guy who loves his walks but is a fair sized dog and can be a bit of a puller at times, doesn’t detract from his appeal though and easily rectified with a bit of training. Greeted the terrier politely and has been out to the park and behaved like a true gent. A great boy whose enthusiasm is infectious 🙂
