What a big striking lad is Al. Not blessed in the brains department but a loveable goofball. Still adjusting to all the new sights & sounds and can get a bit over excited but much to like 🙂 Was a bit full on with the terrier but he’s never seen one before and should settle the more of real life and other breeds that he sees. Shares so well with even a fiesty girl grey that we are hopeful his good nature will expand to encompass other breeds too. A boy we can’t help but like 🙂

Date of Birth: July 2021
Super handsome chap with great manners and a happy demeanour. He’s like a puppy at times and can be over-stimulated by noise and movement. Met the terrier and whilst initially pretty rude, settled without too much trouble. Walks like a dream until something exciting happens lol A great boy who just needs exposure and to realise he’s retired now. Time, patience and more experiences should help him become the great pet we know he can be 🙂

Date of Birth: October 2019
No I haven’t spelt his name wrong – who thinks these up?? Looks a bit serious in his picture but not in real life. A happy, charming boy, a big lad but luckily has good manners and walks well for our volunteers. Has been in a home and was impeccably behaved apart from his over excitement with little dogs, this needs some work but not impossible. Just a bit too much for his previous owners. If you have the knowledge and time to work with him and other breeds he could become your perfect dog 🙂

Racing Name: Scattered Canelo
Date of Birth: January 2020
Connel has been in a home with 2 other dogs, so is house trained but unfortunately after quite some time, was becoming increasingly dominent with them. A high energy boy who loves people but needs some rules and boundaries to make him a really happy boy. He is bright and learns quickly but this also means he learns good & bad in equal measure, given the opportunity! Has been out and about quite a lot and loves his adventures, he will however approach any human for a fuss! A great boy who maybe needs to be the only dog in the home. Connel deserves a second chance, could you be the one to give him this??

Racing Name: Bitcoin Dazzler
Date of Birth: September 2020
Another striking chap who is a favorite with the staff due to his good manners and laid back attitude. Super tolerant of his nutty kennel mate, for which he needs a medal!! He’s a bit more switched on out walking but still an easy enough guy. Is waiting his turn to venture outside to the park but a clever lad who will soon adjust. Can be overlooked coz he’s not in your face but will make a great pet we’re sure 🙂

Racing Name: Midas Flash
Date of Birth: January 2021
Flash is a great chap who settled straight in here. Didn’t mind the terrier at all and is an all round good guy. He is a big chap and can be strong on his lead but nothing that can’t be solved. Confident boy who enjoyed his trip out to the country park last weekend and behaved like a gent (apart from being a bit of a puller). He’s not been with us long and we will work on his lead manners but will make a great addition to someone’s household 🙂

Another lump who doesn’t know his size lol. A big, bouncy lad who has a certain joie de vivre and who you can count on to make you laugh. Tested with Bugley (the terrier) well, once Bugley told him to take it steady in no uncertain terms, backed off and learnt to approach with less enthusiasm! A great boy who learns quickly but who would need an owner experienced enough to curb his enthusiasm and enjoy his love of life. A lot of fun for the right household 🙂

Racing Name: Easy Rocker
Date of Birth: April 2022
A handsome boy who came to us as an unclaimed stray from the local pound. Only raced briefly and we don’t know where he’s been since but has adapted well to kennel life again. Initially he was uncertain but soon realised life is good here and has become a happy, well mannered boy. We’re not rushing him or asking too many questions at the moment but he’s showing he can be a waggy and charming chap. We will take him out and about soon to make sure he has no triggers we can find. Would need a knowledgeable home, without smaller children just because we know so little about his ‘lost’ time. A great chap who deserves a chance – we love him 🙂

Racing Name: Coonough Paddy

A big, cuddly, hairy bear of a dog is Paddy. Super looking boy, who if he keeps his paws on the ground and not round your neck is a real cutie 🙂 Can be strong initially but settles on his walks and is loved by all that have walked him. New in, has met the terrier and was somewhat over enthusiastic until Bugley gave him a good telling off lol, he then hid in the corner and refused to look at the scary mutant dog 🙂 Would soon get the hang of other breeds with exposure but will keep you updtaed once he ventures out to the local parks. Maybe not with small children as he is a lump but great fun for older children or an adult only household.

Racing Name: Ballyphilip Fab
Date of Birth: June 2019
A handsome boy who just LOVES people. Will make a bouncy, wagging beeline for just about anyone who even glances his way lol Great with other greys but does need to do some socialising with other breeds as can be a bit over stimulated. He walks well on his daily sabbaticals around our woods and has yet to have his turn out in the real world. He can be a bit vocal for attention but is quiet if he hasn’t got an audience lol A great chap with loads of character, would do well either in a home where he’s not left too long or with another grey for company. A real cuddle monster looking for people he can call his own.

Seanie
Racing Name: Sleepy Seanie
Date of Birth: June 2019
Such a good looking boy and a lovely chap 🙂 An easy boy around kennels and to walk but not afraid to let you know it’s dinner time, he does love his food but no aggression, just enthusiasm! Takes a treat politely and will happily eat treats on his bed with his kennel mate. Enjoys his walks in the woods but hasn’t been out to the park yet. He does have a shy side which he rarely shows but we know it’s there as he was quite timid for the first few hours when he arrived, soon decided it wasn’t such a bad place to be 🙂 Hopefully he won’t be here too long.

Who would call a dog Dark Slayer?? Especially one as nice as Smartie? A big lad but he has beautiful manners and a cheerful disposition 🙂 Barely glanced at our terrier and has been kenneled with a girl who knows her own mind with no problems. He’s a little unfit at the moment as he’s been waiting some time to get a rehoming space but is enjoying his walks and gets fitter every day. A lovely lanky lad who we will get out to the park as soon as he’s fit enough, don’t want to exhaust the poor chap – he thinks he’s joined the gym lol. Early days but so far a great boy with an easy going character 🙂
